******A FEW QUICK UPDATES TO THIS VIDEO*****
1. I say in the video it outputs component video. ERROR- Its Composite video (come on brain and mouth work together πŸ™‚ ).
2.Some text is missing at “2:38.4 to 2:48.0″for some browsers…
The FB 1 was designed by Atari veteran Curt Vendel in 2004, and that was based on “NES-on-a-chip” hardware.
The FB 2 and 2+ in 2005 was a Curt Vendel design of a A2600-on-a-chip. (Hackable with a real cart connector).

3. Some text is missing at “2:50.2 to 2:56.9″for some browsers…
In 2011, Atari licensed out Legacy Engineering’s Flashback concept and name to AtGames for the “Flashback 3/4/5/6/7”. These use emulation running on an ARM-based processor instead of Legacy’s “2600-on-a-chip”

Sorry video was made quick and very much late in the night πŸ˜›

  1. The graphics are just too bad to play the console. On the joysticks, the action is really bad, poorly built, feels cheap and plastic-like. You must keep the joystick pointed at the console, like a TV remote control. Very weak gaming experience , I will return this.

  2. I hope they make an Atari flashback with the classic movie based games like Star Wars, Raiders of the lost ark, and Ghostbusters also a console with Pac Man, Ms. Pac Man, Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr.

  3. Wow, very nice review. I've been wanting one of these for a long time. I think I'm gonna take your advice and get a FB 5 or FB 6. Thanks. Best review of this product I've seen 😎😎😎😎😎

  4. Nice job on the video. Do you have any idea if they are working on getting the rights to the Activision games like Pitfall or River Raid in the future? I'm waiting/hoping they do as those are my personal faves. Thanks.

  5. i am a manager of a electronics section in a retail store (big man i know)
there is a huge penalty from the distributor to the store for selling any item before its release date lol if this happened in my store i would have laughed you out the door without the product
