  1. when i swapped from my Utech Smart Venus mouse, a logitech G600 knockoff, to the actual G600 (which i got on sale for only $35), 1 thing stands out, and that's my thumb rest, or well, the lack thereof..
my thumb doesn't have that nifty little piece of plastic to rest on now, it's hard to put it into words, but it's like i have to learn how to ride a different kind of bicycle, in a way…
Logitech, looking at you, ball's in your court now.

  2. you young whipper snappers and yer fancy magic wands and yer Wii-motes,
waving 'em all around in the air like you're some kinda luke skywalker breakdancer,
you're gonna put someone's eye out with them damn things!
back in mah day, we had 1 button to push, ONE! AND WE LIKED IT!
and take that damn thing off yer head, you look like a space cadet.
    😉

  3. People laugh at high dpi mice, but set your mouse to 400 dpi on a 6k display and see how long it takes for you to hit the reply button to his post. I'll wait…

    …no I won't.

  4. I personally wish it wasn't edited, as I enjoy the banter and divergences, and it's difficult to catch live regularly. But, I understand if this format is preferred by the majority.

  5. Intel Optane DC D4800X Dual-Port SSD:
?? WHY does it limit each controller to half the bandwidth?
I get that there are two controllers so someone will likely say "duh, it's obvious" but it's my understanding the second controller only kicks in if the first one fails or is unusable for whatever reason. So I'm confused why the bandwidth would be cut in half as it seems like you should still have the full "x4" bandwidth.

  6. So Turing is just using a lot more die space for the sake of efficiency? This is a die of the size of the 1060, it is slightly slower than a 1060 and it is lower wattage.
